Getting into Oaxaca City
The historic center is close to the airport. If you are traveling light during the day, the authorized airport transportation options are usually adequate. Continuing to the Pacific Coast
From OAX, travelers commonly continue to Puerto Escondido or Huatulco by regional flight or by road. If your final destination is Huatulco and you have not bought flights yet, flying directly into HUX is often the more efficient itinerary.
